Canadian Collegiate Teams                               

  Many universities and colleges in Canada provide their female athletes with the opportunity to play competitive fastpitch softball.  Teams compete in different leagues / conferences and divisions. Teams in AIWFA (Alberta Intercollegiate Womens Fastball Association),  OIWFA (Ontario Intercollegiate Womens Fastball Association) and the OCAA (Ontario Colleges Athletic Association) play within their leagues during the season and then can participate in the Canadian College National Championships. Teams in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) play within conferences in the NAIA and then are eligible to play in NAIA championships. Many of the teams also play exhibition games against US colleges and universities either in Canada or at tournaments in the States. For information on specific teams click on the links under DUGOUT.
